Hey everyone I am home.... Surgery was good took a long time 6.5 hours. However the recovery in the hospital was horriable. I had a horriable roomate the floor was full so they teamed me up with this old man who didnt sleep yelled at the nurses all night and everything it was interesting to say the least but i am home and recovering ok. few small complications but nothing perminent or major. Just glad to be home.....

Glad to hear your home and good luck. I was supposed to lap-banded tomorrow but I had last minute insurance problems. Where did you have it done?

Welcome Home Jason glad to hear the complications were not major. As far as food I know every surgeon is different. I was on nothing but liquids for two weeks, then I moved on to mushy food for two weeks, and then each week I was slowly allowed to add different proteins to my diet. Jennie
