Topic: Hello Lincoln Ne area
Hello to everyone in the star city area. (Lincoln)
Just had my sleeve on 06/10/11. Only had minimal discomfort (3 on the 10 pain scale at most) and it was gone by discharge date (2 days out). At fifteen days out I hardly feel like I had the surgery and feel ready to go back to work except for the lifting restrictions (10 lbs and they should be cleared soon). My surgeon did an excellent job and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who would ask (Dr. Winterstein). If anybody out there would like to chat or be my friend I welcome you with open arms. My e-mail is [email protected] if anyone is interested. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi,
I know it is a bit of a drive also but there is a support group that meets at St Elizabeth hospital in Lincoln on every other Tuesday of the month. I know I am chiming in late but the next group meets on July 5 at 6:00 pm in the rose room of the basement of the hospital. Let me know if you are interested and I will also be your friend.

Sorry for chiming in late but I hope your surgery went as well as mine did. Mine was 06/10/11
Topic: RE: Getting nervous!
Nothing to be nervous about. I had mine 6/10 with Dr. Winterstein and it went smooth as silk. Only in hospital two days, pain was at most a 3 on the 10 scale and was gone in two days. Feel fine and except for the lifting restrictions of 10 lbs which will soon pass I could go back to work. Good luck to you and let me know if I can help.
Topic: RE: Revision with Dr.Anthone
I know this is a couple of months after your OP, but I just saw this. I am a Dr. Anthone pt, but not a revision. I suggest posting over on the DS board if you haven't already. There are some people on there that have used him for revision that are not from NE.

Topic: RE: Inquiring about Dr Sudan!
I am in NC and am scheduled with Dr. Sudan in Nov 2011. He works with Duke but does DS at Durham Regional with robotic assistance. He is the only surgeon currently doing the DS procedure though Duke.
