I know the fill thing is very trying our nerves but when we do get to that sweet spot we are so grateful! The pounds melting and our health is getting so much better. I have had mine for over 6 years now, mine holds 5cc's and I have just a drop over 1cc. Another thing I'm hearing is that after one gets a fill they go have LUNCH, when I was new Dr.H told me to eat soft foods and not much...most are full after a fill . Maybe after you get your fill and take about a hour or so and dont think you are tight enough he might put more in especially if you had to drive a long way. Gary is doing "Great". His surgery is on the 28th of this month. He's lost about 30lbs. on his own. I'm really excited for him. Keep in touch. Maybe we can get together for coffe or something sometime. Jill

That is great. Was Gary able to get his surgery? I often wonder about the people I met at the support group in Central City.
When I go to Omaha, I take the long way, I go on HWY 30, we used to live in Fremont, Ne and I drive through that town and then take a highway that takes me just north of Immanuel Hospt. That way I don't have to drive too much in Omaha. Plus it keeps me away from the malls.........helps on the $$$$$$.
I have been having some problems with acid reflux........thinking of calling my Dr. this morning I coughed up little red flecks not sure if it was blood or my crystal light. My husband told me I should not be drinking when laying down. I keep a glass of crystal light on my night stand. Maybe that is why I am doing this. Who knows but think I will give Dr. White's office a call on Monday.

Thanks. Just got some really good news. You remember Gary from our group ? He had just told me, St E's(in Lincoln) had just become a "Center Of Excellance". So I called them & told them how hard it was for me to go out west for fills (hard on my car & purse). That assigned me to Dr.Hung. I go in for a fill on Wed. & they're going to transfer my records there & take over my care. I'm really excited. It will be sooo much closer & easier to get to.
