Just wanted to remind everyone of "See it, Believe it, Achieve it" scheduled for 10/18/08 at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Ne from 0830 to 3:30pm (SAT). If you want to email me, I can send you an invitation with all of the info via emal. I know that several of you are planning on joining us and I am thrilled that you are coming. Anyone having had a weight loss surgery is invited. I was able to get some hotel rates that may help with travel expenses a bit. The two that the hospital works with are:

1.) Chase Suites

      $79 per night for studio suite

2.) Candlewood Suites (fairly new)

      $65 per night

Dr,Hung is great. He was trained by Dr.Holloway. His personal nurse Lisa is really sweet also.He does fills on Wednesdays. He's real open to accepting new patience that had their surgery somewhere else. I plan to go back for another fill very soon. I'd love to car-pool (saves gas for both of us)with you if you're interested. You don't even have to have a consiltation first. When you're interested..I'll call & set it up. I am not planning on having a DS surgery - a little too much rearranging for me. But, they did say it would probably be spring to think about the sleeve surgery.

MK I know you will do great. I can't wait to hear of your experience. I have my Radiology and Cardiovascular consults scheduled for Wed and Thurs this week and then I hope to get a surgery date. I was wondering if the Dr.'s have told you how long after the panniculectomy before you can have your DS? I forgot to ask. Good luck I will keep you in my prayers.

Well, I can't give you any advice about this - yet. I am actually scheduled to go in on Monday morning for this exact procedure with Dr. Winterstein. I definitely agree with you on the confidence. I met with both Dr. Anthone and Dr. Winterstein and they both agreed that this surgery was the better one to do first. So, once I'm back on my feet, I can let you know how it goes.
