I went to a support group meeting this last July and at that time he was still only doing open. I could be totally wrong on this....but...I was thinking that he only does the DS and not the RNY. You would know more than me on that one since you've talked to their office though. I didn't go in wanting the RNY so I didn't ask anything about that at my pre surgery visits. I only talked to him about the DS.
I know that he said Dr. Winterstine (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) is now doing the band but not sure if it's open or lap.
Their office has been really good at getting back to me when I have had questions too. I've even emailed Dr. A with a question once and he emailed me back himself.

see i started with Dr. A almost 2 years ago a long story short when my insuance changed in jan.08 Dr. A's office sent me to Creaton and now Sudan is gone and it is true when ever i call i leave a mess. and they call me back within an hour or two.

Finally after 15 months I will have lapband surgery on Dec 3rd at St Elizabeth's Hospital in Lincoln. Dr Tadducci is doing the surgery. Thanks for all of your help and support-Cheri

Linda I met with some people a couple months ago, we all had lap band done about the same time. I told them about the group in Kearney so you might have a couple new faces.

I think it would be a little strange for someone doing an eval to say that what we were eating was fine. I had been "counseled" on what I should be doing many months before surgery by the same lady that did my eval, she could be a bit intense but I needed it. Perhaps we had the same dr?
