Hi Michelle, Your surgeon shouldlet you know what vitamins he wants you to take. For banding generally include a multivitamin and calcium supplement. For bypass, it is a multivitamin, calcium citrate and B12 supplement. All vitamins must be chewable or liquid. Get your pain med prescription filled the same day you are discharged. You should be able to have a lap top in your room. Have noncarbonated liquids available while you are in the hotel. Follow your diet guidelines given to you by your surgeon. Good luck. Mona

I finaly have my surgery date but now I have tons of question..
What do I take to the Hospital? What can't I take? can we have a Lap top?
what supplaments should I have ready at home and simce I'm staying in a hotel for a week what should I have on hand?
What vitamins should I have? Sould I ask for pain meds ahead of time so I don't have to stop at the pharmacey on my way home?
Anything anyone can think of would be apreciated
