Topic: RE: Inquiring about Dr Sudan!
Is he starting to do surgeries at Duke now?  I thought I read he was going to teach, but it would be such a waste for him not to exercise his surgical talents.  I am not sure what the DaVinci procedure is, but I did hear he was involved with some robotic surgery trials.

Creighton's designation as a Center of Excellence is based on the work of Dr. Sudan, and from what I have heard, they must keep his name associated with their program or risk losing the COE designation.  That is why it would surprise me if he was doing surgeries in NC.  None of the other surgeons at Creighton have the experience or credentials in bariatrics, and none of them do the DS.

It is my understanding that Dr. McBride at the University of Nebraska Med Center will also do them.  She does all fills under Floro.

Thank You Linda!
I will make a flyer up for 2009, so that folks from central Ne are informed of your support group. Continued success to you and everyone on the board as we move into 2009!

Hi Barb, you have a couple of options. You could come to Ogallala and see Dr. Holloway for your fills. He is a wonderful surgeon and would take care of you. You can also go to Lincoln and see either Dr. Hung or Dr. Taddeucci at St. Elizabeth's. Whichever surgeon you choose, you will need to get a copy of your operative report so the new doc knows what band you have and other information. Good luck in your search. Mona

I have to agre with you.  Even though they are starting a new group her in Grand Island which I will attend, I think I will still go to the one in Kearney.  I think you can't get too much support.

I have even thought of trying to get to the Lincoln support group too.
