Topic: RE: Vertical sleeve gastrectomy
Dr Anthone does not perform the sleeve. He only does the DS & RnY. They assist each other during surgery. I believe it is either a 32 french or 34 french. I can't remember. Self pay is 12, 500 and that includes 12 months coverage if anything goes wrong.
I strongly encourage you to contact their office. Their information can be found at bestcare.org.
Good luck.

Topic: 3rd Bariatric Surgery Reunion in Lincoln 9/19
Hey Nebraskans....registration is now open for the WLS reunion scheduled in Lincoln 9/19. Katie J from NAWLS will be our keynote speaker as well as the surgeons at Saint Elizabeth. It will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with others across the state. All patients that have had WLS are welcome to attend regardless of where you had your procedure or what type of procedure. What type of surgery we choose is our personal decision...what we focus on here in our program is the commonalities in aftercare. Lifestyle changes, nutrition, exercise, emotional health are parts of our lives we all strive to make progress on after surgery. If you need more info on the days events, go to SaintElizabethonline.org and click on services. Go to Bariatric program and you will find a link to "Overcome the Past, Transform the Future." You can also call Shelly who is me! 402-219-7638. Hope you can join us! Thanks, Shelly.

Topic: Anyone have a VSG with Dr. White in Omaha?
Just curious if anyone has gone to Dr. White for their VSG. My sis recommended him, as she works at Immanuel. If anyone else has experience with VSG in Nebraska, please let me know your surgeon and if you were happy with them. Thanks!
