Hi everyone- I'm new to the forum, just decided to check it out after Mona U suggested it. I've been reading some of the past postings, and have learned some interesting stuff. I'm scheduled for my lap band with Dr. Holloway on the 30th, and I'm a little scared and a lot excited. So any encouraging words would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Dorothy.

Happy St. Patricks Day to all. Today here in O'Neill, Ne. everyone is Irish. We have a huge celebration and parade and everyone parties till the wee hours. We are considered the Irish Capital of Nebraska. So go forth and have a very Irish day!!!

Mona, I currently have an appointment with Dr. Jones but I was wondering if there were any drs that did the testing in Kearney or Broken Bow which is close to where I live? Also, how long does it take for the response from the test to get to your clinc? Ans still another question, how far ahead are they scheduling right now? I have the permission from my insurance company and have an appt the 27th with Dr. Jones. I'm trying to do some planning for work. I am excited that it is getting closer!!

Am I alone here or what??? Guess your all busy with spring fever..haha I was till today and I'm freezinggggggg. Sweat shirt and the whole none yards...I should live in arz or fla...Hope everyons doing well today and the pounds are melting away...as for me I have lost 5 since my fill nearly a week ago. and am i tight!! Melissa, Hi and im from np and the support group leader along with Jimmy, hes on the boards all the time. Lisa Jones is wh o most of our people gl to she has been to a meeting along time ago. She is good. where are you located? we meet the firs tuesday and you are more than welcolm to join us. Hello everyone,
I see on the message board that there are a few Nebraskans from the North Platte
area, I am not too far from there. I am wanting to have a wls, just need to find the
money. I see that some Dr.s require that you get a letter from a psychologist saying
that u are not really nuts. Did any NP people one in the area? I would like to find a
psychologist that is familar with wls so I dont have to educate them. Thank you very much for any information.
