You sound like a thoughtful person.
I think it's good to speak up, and it's too bad some of the people here don't understand.
All the best to YOU!!!

Thank you Jimmy.
Nice to see some openness here. The hospital was very glad that I had called and alerted them to the problems that had come up. They were glad to get those issues addressed, and some things have been changed because I spoke up.
That's the best I can hope for in this scenario.
I'm not trying to insult anyone's loyalty to the hospital.
It's a bit like the beech boys song "be true to your school".
Yes, it does sound very junior high-ish.
Sometimes a bit of criticism can change things for the better.
For those who don't understand, apparently they never will.
For those who do, I sincerely appreciate it.

Topic: Looking for employment, please help
Hi, I am looking for another job, a place that has insurance that will cover gastric bypass surgery. I am in the field of EMT/CNA/Medication Aide kind of work. If anyone can help me with possibilities I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Sheila

Don't know if I'am a Hypocrite or not. But we have all opinions. I didn't have any the problems you seem to occured when you were in Scottsbluff. But my surgery was all most 2 years ago. All I can say I had no problems with the staff. but that is my opinion. Have a great day. jimmy

Well hello just a friendly reminder that we will have our monthly meeting next Tuesday evening. If you know of a previous member ask them to attend. I hope to have a personal exercise trainer to speak and help us get ready for spring and summer. So we will see you in a week. jimmy

Are you talking about Steve C, Beth? When I talked to him the end of Feb he wasn't. I wish he was it would be great to see him. Have him meet you at the airport and put him in a foot locker as your second checked item he can stay at my place. LOL

Dorothy,
I was on more meds for DM2. I came home on no meds from surgery and within three months could stop blood sugar testing and my a1c has been normal now for a year. Dr. Forney stopped all DM2, blood pressure, high cholestrol, and acid reflex meds the morning of surgery. I have lost over 105 lbs and feel great. I do have some problems with low blood sugar at times. I eat some peanut butter and crackers at those times and everything is OK. Just relax and everything will fall into place.
God Bless,
Cathy
