I just joined OH as a member after reading some fun messages. I don't know how good I will be at this - I am kind of a private person. I just had Lap Band 3/2/07 in Scottsbluff with Dr. Holloway. There were three of us that day. I only had the pleasure of meeting one, as we shared a room. My stay and experience seems to be a lot different than hers. I think that to be very sad as we had the same nurses, doctors, etc. Anyway, I wish her the best. I have had no problems thus far. I am already excited with some of the changes taking place - physically as well as mentally. I have my first fill tomorrow. Anxious to see the doc again.

Beth- thanks for the encouragement. I have baby spoons- have had one grand child or another living with me for the past 12 years, so there are plenty!!! The egg timeis ia good idea- I'll pick one up at Wally world Thurs. night before surgery- he can take it home with him so I woun't lose it! I also sent for the "bariatric survival pack" from Bariactric Eating. It showed up today, so I'll delve into it tonight after work. I might just head that way for one of your group meetings, just to meet new people! Thanks again- Dorothy

All I know is that OH has the power to remove anything they think is not acceptable. They have someone or persons that check daily what we write...but I truly believe enogh is enough. Later and Lighter, Beth in NE

Well, only 3 days till my surgery! I'm kind of glad it's almost here, since I'm getting a little nervous. But I think I'm ready- support people in place, house & yard work caught up, freezer stocked up for husband, and Easter stuff bought and mailed to grandbabies. Hopefully I'll feel like getting on the computer when I get home, and will let everyone know how it went. Thanks for all the prayers- Dorothy
