My surg. date was 3/20/07. had 1st fill 4/09/07, I'm HUNGRY. I think about food all the time. Is this old behavior? Will this get better?

It was great seeing you and meeting Jimmy. Ain't he a georgous guy? I found you talk very interesting even though I have had RNY. I found three people from my local area at the meeting. People that didn't know me before surgery. I have been contemplateing starting a support group for this area, and now I think try to get one started.

Hi Carla, You have had major surgery and it will take you a while before you feel better. Ask your surgeon when you can drive. My surgeon allows us to drive if we are not using narcotics for pain. You might also log onto the duodenal switch forum. They can give you advice. Good luck. Mona

Are you a bandster or an RNY? I am a bandster in Omaha and see Dr. Corrigan McBride at UNMC. I really feel like she knows what she is doing but I am kind of discouraged that it takes so much time to get fills - they only do them once a month.

I have BCBS of Minnesota and was approved very quickly for the Lap Band. No problems.

Hi Everyone, I had a great time in Grand Island. It was wonderful to see everyone and review the lap band rules. Sexy Lady looks so awesome. I haven't seen her since surgery. Thanks to Pat for having Jimmy and I come to the meeting. I look forward to coming again. Mona
