Thanks so much to everyone that responded to my pleas for support.  I am in Scottsbluff now and headed right out for my preop.  Had sugar free jello for breakfast while my husband ate breakfast pizza.  Better get used to that huh? Anyway I appreciate the support

Well,  I am going to work on appeal and see where that gets me.  But f  I am not successful with the appeal process.  I am looking at having the surgery in Mexico by Dr. Ariel Ortiz.  My only problem is follow up care.  I've approached a number of docs locally and they dont want anything to do with another surgeons work. Lets see what happens in the next 60 days!!

Hi, I am sorry to hear about your denial. A lot of insurance companies look at your health history since your bmi is between 35-40. Don't give up. The worst they can do it tell you no. You could also self pay if that  is an option. Good luck. Mona

Hi Chris, congratulations on your upcoming surgery! That is awesome. Your surgeon is concerned about the amount of scar tissue you have as well as what the adrenalectomy involved. He will do what ever is the safest for you. Let us know how you are doing. Mona
