Barb,
You are welcome to attend the support group meetings at St. Elizabeth. They are every other Tues evening. You can find them on the website under: After my surgery. There is a calendar with all events on it to include support groups. Glad you are joining us for the seminar. See you soon. Shelly

I found it and printed out the brochure and I will attend the seminar. I did not have my meeting at St. Elizabeth. I had it in Omaha. I need to get in a supprot group meeting, I was wondering do you know whether or not a person can attend the post op support meetings at St. Elizabeth even thought they did not have their surgery there. I live closer to Lincoln then Omaha.

If you check the band forum, you will see several questions like the first one. I haven't had a slip (knock on wood) but most describe it as painful with severe vomiting or reflux.

My guess would be that your hormone are out of whack. Your body is going through a big change so it wouldn't be surprising. I haven't been banded yet but I really try to keep my skin clean and healthy. I personally like Pro Activ even though it is costly.

Has anyone had trouble with there face breaking out? I am about seven weeks post op ( lap Band) and I have trouble with acne. Never had problems before. Any suggestions?

1. Sorry I don't know as I am not banded yet.
2. My surgery date is wrong—how do I fix it?
When you enter your profile under "my account" on the top right of the site, click on the “I've got a date” link in the middle column. When that page opens, you will see where you enter your surgery date information. Be sure and scroll down and hit “update” so it will save your changes.

Hi, I have a couple of questions for you folks checking in here.
1. Has anyone had a band slip? If so, what were your symptoms?
2. Can anyone help me figure out how to change my profile (I'm trying to change from waiting for surgery to the date.
Thanks for any help you can give me!! Jeannie
Topic: RE: Medicaid
I don't have medicaid but I remember something being said in consultation about having to follow a protocol with a dietician for 6 months or something like that. That might have been medicare, not medicaid though. Medi-something. LOL I agree with Mona- best to call and ask to find out what their requirements are. I'd rather know up front and have some idea of where to start so I could start on it right away. Best of luck to you!

Also Dr. Whites Support groups are the first Wed of the month and for people a year or more post surgery the first Monday of the month.
