Hi Mona. No, I don't live in Nebraska. I am thinking about flying out there for my revision surgery. I have a really good friend who lives there who had DS surgery with him and really liked their experiance with Dr. Anthone so I thought I would find out some more info.
But for the record, right now I wished I lived in Nebraska.

I've met so many great people through OH. It is so nice to be able to talk w/those people & share ideas & problems each of us have had. It helps us both. The tool of posting ( in my option ) is just as important as t/surgery itself. We keep each other on track. Sometimes I don't hear from one of my friends in a while..and I e-mail them & find out they're struggling. And I tell them it's even more important to post then..because then we can go through it together. That's what OH is for. For us to take t/journey together.

Hi Tammy, I don't know anything about Dr. Anthone but welcome to Nebraska. How long have you had your DS? Have you found a local support group? I can give you information about that. Let us know if you need any additional information. Mona

Dr. Gering in Grand Island takes Medicaid, but not Medicare. The St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island is a good hospital, but it is not a center of excellence that Medicaid requires. I think most of the doctors in Nebraska take medicaid.

Life Grand and Life is Good, my puter is well and I am back on line doing the things I love so much. You know OH and E-Bay, and E-mail, you know all those really fun things. Please tell me that you missed me, it would hurt my feelings really bad if you didn't.

Does anyone have any experiance with Dr. Anthone? I am a band to DS revision and he came recommended by a friend of mine living in Nebraska?
