How do you help lead her to a different road ?After you're given the tools . Is there any way to teach each other to use them w/o being mean ?

I received an e-mail from an OH friend that greatly concerned me. As an WLS leader I feel strongly obligated to knock some since into her.She complained to me how people were bringing holiday cookies into work & she had been eating them all day. She was feeling ill. On her home page she complains of throwing up slime & not knowing what's up with that. She states .".I don't know if that's because I'm eating too fast..Too much..Or not chewing enough." My opintion..Yes, Yes & Yes. The surgery is a Tool. That's All. It goes back to that saying...One day I walk down the road..There's a hole ..I fall in...The next day I walk down the same road...The hole is still there...I fall in...The next day I take another road !! The doctor can alter your gut..to show you the path to a new road but he can't make you take it.

Ya know , don't cha. Ya see don't cha. Ya know what I mean don't cha ? Hey you get that great cookie recipe ? Ha ! I nearly choked..I laughed so hard. I guess it doesn't take much to amuse me. Ha !

Just looked at this board for the first time and was not aware of Sunday's fun.  Unfortunately I will not be able to attend as we have guests from out of time.  Maybe in January if you have another event.
