Jill went to see the doctor about her port pain and now she is in the hospital. She is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow. Her port is infected again and it sounds like there may be even more going one. Say a prayer. Her hubby is very angry and not being at all supportive. When I talked to Jill this evening, it sounded like he left and went home and does not plan on going back up until she is ready to go home. I would go up and be with her tomorrow, but I have to work and there is no way I can get out of it. If anyone up there can go and be with her, I would be eternally grateful. I will keep you posted as I know more.

Lunch was great. It was so nice to meet fellow bandsters. We talked about meeting again in Janurary so be on the look out for a posting. Of course anyone is welcome and not just bandsters. Again nice to meet you all.

I was in Omaha today (Sunday). Found a great store can't remember the name of it everything was 8.98 and under. Of course I went shopping for clothes and ended up with 2 coats and a shirt for hubby and and bunch of stuff for our grandaughter but nothing for me : ( Hope you all had a good lunch. Barb

I guess we really didn't discuss this at lunch, huh? About 3 weeks after surgery, I felt a big pop and I called the doctor the next day. We guessed it was my port moving. I had some back and muscle pain. They surgically went in and fixed it 5 months after my surgery. It is so much better now! I am so glad we fixed it. In addition, they had a hard time with my fills since it was flipped. They said that there was really no specific reason that it did that. However, my non-medicine degree opinion is that they released me to exercise too early.

I really have no idea what's wrong. I called the hospital & the surgeon on call happened to be Holloway (my doc. ) He wants me to come out to Ogallala in the morning.
