Barb E had hip replacement on Dec. 17th & is recooping at home. She's a WLS group member in Central City. I thought it would be nice if she received weel wishes from other OH members. Merry Christmas !

Merry Christmas Mona. I hope you have a wonderful time with your family. I work tweleve hours on Christmas day. So I won't have much time for celebrating. They kids are going to spend the day with their mom and grandpa. Chuck is coming in to have dinner with me. So we will have some time together.

I don't know and really don't care who e-mailed you, but you obviously do NOT want to be friends with that person either (not a whole lot of support coming from that source). I am sorry someone took it upon themself to send you such an e-mail implying that it came from the entire support board. And yes, I agree with you about the "support" from this board....after all that person CHOSE to read your post in the first place, and sometimes you need to have a place to vent.
I'm sorry you have lost someone you felt was such a good friend, but maybe it will play out to be a blessing in disguise. Good luck with everything.

Hi Tammy,
I had surgery with Dr. A on October and have absolutley nothing but positive things to say about him and the DS. His bedside manner is incredible, he is a personable guy, and takes all the time necessary to answer any questions you may have. I am four hours away from Omaha but literally only a phone call away from him. Dr. Anthone (himself) will return your calls and he is very accessable. He does firmly believe in making the littlest tummy possible and does leave a bit more common channel (mine is 200 cm, I told him I would be good with 300 cm, but he does know best). If you want any more info please feel free to PM me. IMHO you will not find a better surgeon (although there are many good surgeon's out there).

Topic: I ask forgiveness
This morning another member of this board e-mailed me and told me that my post about loseing my best friend was inappropiate. I ask the forgiveness of the members of this board who feel that my prior post was inappropiate. I thought that part of the purpose of the OH boards was to get the help and support for the things that are detrimental to our weight loss journey. Apparently I was mistaken, so once again I ask for your forgiveness.
