I didn't see your original post but in my opinion these boards are here for support...wls related or not. Many people post about non-wls related topics so I wouldn't think it would be a problem to post about your friend. I am sorry you are going through this, especially around this time of year. Keep your chin up and we are here for you even if it is just to "listen" (or read as the case may be on these boards).

Thank-you for the support. I have worked everything out in my own mind. I could let it destroy my progress, or I can use it to make me stronger and a better person. I will not hold a grudge. I will use it to my betterment.

Hmmmm... that seems like a silly waste of time to send that email. People post about everything here & I didn't see anything different about your post. I also do think that it is very related to weight loss. If I were in your shoes, the first thing I would have done was GO EAT. By posting that here, it took your mind off of it for one minute and kept you away from the fridge! I hope things work out for you.
