I am so glad to hear you are doing well Jill. You have been in my thoughts. I am especially glad your husband has come around. I knew they would get your physicial issues solved but we really need our families behind us.. Blessings

Topic: RE: LadyHusker814 should be in surgery....
LadyHusker - aka Jen, is alive and well! Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers. Surgery went without a hitch. Banded around noon 12/26, and stayed in the hospital until 5:30 pm the following day. I'm sore as hell, and I feel worse because of the gas, but I hope it goes away sooner rather than later. Naturally my appetite is next to nothing at this point. Water and jello is about all I've managed to try. Again, thanks everyone!!! Jen

Topic: Wow moments still come
I am just about two years out and pretty close to goal. I have gone up and am on my way back down. Funny, it is harder this time to lose those last few pounds than it was the first time. But they are coming off. The one thing it is teaching me is that I have to stay on track each and every day. Pound up, pound down, I can't let five or ten creep back on. Anyway, to the wow moment. At work the other day, I got referred to as the skinny chick. Never thought I would be the skinny chick in any group. Unfortunately, I still see myself as fat. But I am working on that.
Topic: RE: Blame Game
Jeannie, aint that so true. It is hardest when no one is looking. that is the time we have to be true to ourselves. Watching people overeat sometimes makes me feel ill, just remembering how that use to be me.
Topic: RE: Blame Game
Boy..isn't that the truth. Nights are t/hardest for me. Watching TV or something like that. That's probably why I'm on here sooo much. It keeps me busy !! Hope you had a great day.

Nope. Not from me. I don't know her well enough that I would hear until she gets settled back home and is back among the living. Hopefully, we will hear from her tomorrow.

Topic: RE: Merry Christmas
I do hope everyone had a great Christmas weekend.
I had too much going on that I didn't get much rest.
1. Friday I was expecting a call or email from my mom but didn't get one until Saturday. As it turns out she fell down all the steps but the top one on her deck. She's not sure if she missed a step, slipped on ice, accidently stepped on a cat, or just can't walk. She went to the ER and they didn't really say much other than took x-rays and gave pain meds. She called her doctor today to get his opinion on the x-rays and he thinks she has a fracture in her back at T7.
2. Then on Saturday I was meeting up with my mom's husband's friends (which was supposed to be what the email was about) to get presents that she was sending down from South Dakota to her for everyone. Anyway there was an evelope missing that had a gift card for me, gift card for my finance, and $10 for some stocking stuffers for one of the boys. I personally think that the friends are shady and think one of them took it. I guess I have no way to prove that though.
3. Then Christmas Day our kids got sleds from their aunt and went sledding at the school across the street. The youngest at 8 went head first down the hill even though he was told not to and went head first into a snow bank and broke out a tooth, root and all. Thankfully the tooth was in tact. He wouldn't really let us touch anything and the dentist wouldn't call back. His doctor told his to take him and the tooth to the ER. I held his arms, Mike his legs, the nurse his head, while the doctor put the tooth back in while he was screaming and crying. Hopefully the tooth stays in and goes back the way it should as it was an adult tooth. Boy was that a job.
So needless to say I didn't get a very relaxing weekend.
