Topic: Too young?
Hey, I'm new here!! I just turned 17, and I'm hoping to have the roux en y procedure done. My mom and both sisters have had it done, they were all 300+ pounds. A few of my aunts have had it done too. I've tried so many different exersise programs and diets, from running (which KILLS my knees ) to swimming. I'm just worried that Nebraska will frown on my age. Do you guys have any idea how to start working towards a surgery date, even though I'm underage? I'm 240 and 5'7 by the way.

Boy, I know t/feeling of hunger. Because everything I eat is liquid. I never feel full. I feel just like I did before any of my surgery's. Gotta get this all taken care of . So I can get back on track.

That's what happens to my brain when it is not being used, I can't remember one day from the next.
I have a meeting Monday night at church, and then Tuesday I have the support meeting, then Wednesday a Dr. appointment, Thursday I have to watch Celebrity Apprentice and Friday I have no clue what I am doing that day.
I am going to try to get an appt. for my 2nd fill. I am feeling absolutely no restriction and have lost no weight in the last couple weeks and my appetite is back :(

I am doing pretty good. Walking with a cane now. I am going back to work on Monday. Was supposed to see my Dr. last Wed. but they had to reschedule do to the flu.
I plan on being there Monday night, if it icy out I will stay home but the weather forecast looks pretty good for Monday.
