Well hello to all. Take a break a pull up a chair I might be long winded on this post. Yes we had our support group meeting last night . Our turn out was super we had 26 people attending. I would say it was cause of a great speaker we had attending and she is MS.MONA URWIN of Mitchell Ne. she had a great presentation and was very formative to the surgery needs of future patients. And a big Thank You to Beth Thompson for getting her lined up to attend our support meeting. And our local TV station was there and had a interview with Mona And it was a good interview. We had 10 members weighing in at a loss of 943pds. We had 6 support members attending. And several people looking into the surgery with there support member. I hope all of you enjoyed the meeting I hope we can help other on there journeys and the new ones on there upcoming journeys. Once again a big Thank You to Mona and Beth for the meeting. Sounds like it would have been a great meeting James. Thanks for telling us about it. Too bad it is such a long way from Lincoln. How often do you have your meetings? Here in Lincoln, I know of a monthly meeting held by the surgeon and twice-monthly meetings held by the hospital. Of course, I'm also glad to have the 'meetings between meetings' here online. Yes, it was a great meeting, good to see the nice turn out. Beth did a great job, and it's always nice to see your enthusiasm also. It's good to shake things up and get new blood for our leadership. Mona was a wonderful speaker. I wish we could get local doctors to come and talk to us about what they see in follow up care, in their offices and at the hospital. How those of us who are farther out fare with other health issues. Betty
