Sally?
Thanks for asking about my sleep test..
It was pretty awful. First of all, I'm somewhat claustrophobic, not terribly, but just a bit. My husband went with me and stayed while the nurse was attaching all the wires, etc. And then she said we'd start with a full face mask... and my husband (who also has a CPAP) said... "No, I don't think that would be a good plan."
So we started with a nose mask, and she had the machine running and I COULD NOT stand it. So we switched to a 'nasal pillow' thing and that was a little better.
I still had trouble getting to sleep tho, and she gave me a sleeping pill at 1:30AM because I had only BRIEFLY dozed off before that. Then they got me up at 5:45 AM and I was on my way to work at 7. THEN I could have slept a bit more.
I'm still not caught up on my sleep yet!
