Hey Sally, how did that sleep test go? I've had a CPAP for several years now. It's okay, but it would be great to have to freedom to sleep without it. My husband wears one, too, so we're quite the pair! Hope it went well. Janet waiting for surgeon appointment

Thanks for asking about my sleep test.. It was pretty awful. First of all, I'm somewhat claustrophobic, not terribly, but just a bit. My husband went with me and stayed while the nurse was attaching all the wires, etc. And then she said we'd start with a full face mask... and my husband (who also has a CPAP) said... "No, I don't think that would be a good plan." So we started with a nose mask, and she had the machine running and I COULD NOT stand it. So we switched to a 'nasal pillow' thing and that was a little better. I still had trouble getting to sleep tho, and she gave me a sleeping pill at 1:30AM because I had only BRIEFLY dozed off before that. Then they got me up at 5:45 AM and I was on my way to work at 7. THEN I could have slept a bit more. I'm still not caught up on my sleep yet! Sally
