Please Help...

My UHC, Choice Plus has an exclusion, I am now looking for individual coverage (if pre existing doesn't get me excluded). I am looking into Golden Rule (which is now UHC also, but not under as an employee) Has anyone had this and had success? I'm still filing an appeal, talking to HR and trying to get the exclusion lifted from out current policy, but it doesn't look promising. I can't do self pay right now, and I'm just getting very wore down and even more depressed. If anyone has any ideas about good employers or good insurance companies in 2006/Nebraska, please let me know. Thanks

Hi Sheila, Insurance can be a major pain especially since your insurance company has an exclusion to wls. Maybe people in eastern Nebraska can give you ideas for insurance companies. Also the insurance coordinator in the surgeon's office could also help you out. Hang in there. It will happen. Mona
