Hello
Well, I still think I am an idiot for doing what I knew what I shouldn't do, but apparently did not mess up anything. I pulled a muscle between two incisions, so that is why it is extra tender. I will continue to take my pain meds and add ibuprofen in between. Also moist heat seems to be helping. I am going to bed early tonight, hopefully I will sleep well and feel better in the morning.

Beth, the Dr is the one that told me to take the ibuprofen, so it's ok. I didn't' want to take anything until I consulted with him. I feel like I have already messed up enough, don't need to make things even worse. But thanks for the concern.
This muscle that I pulled is right at my waist, so whenever I bend it hurts like nothing I have ever felt before. Though one good thing about all of this is that I am learning to use my legs to get up and down. So I am strengthening them.

Lori, I would email Mona and ask [email protected] aks ask her. Also ask her about the pulled muscle in you aShe's the Dr's right arm man!! Beth
Hi Lori, As long as your surgeon says it's okay to take ibuprofen, go ahead and take it. Be sure you are taking it with food. My email address is [email protected] if you have questions. Good luck in your journey. Mona
