Does anyone know how many gastric bypasses Dr. Forney/Dr. Holloway in Scottsbluff, NE have done. What are the complications rates, etc.

Lap Band on 06/25/02

Laura, I had my band 4 years in Jund and I was one of the first 100 or so and now they have dont over 700. I really dont know about the bypass. Mona Urwin is coming to North Platte the 4th of April to put on a meeting, which is our support group night. Please try to come. Check out our website, www.npwlssg.org. Hi Laura, Dr. Forney has done at least 200. He has been doing wls since 1980. Dr. Holloway is also an experienced surgeon. He has done around 700 lap bands and several lap bypasses. Our complication rates are low. They also stress importance of followup. That is key to the success of wls. Hope this helps. Mona
