Just found the NE Messsage Broad

Hi Fellow Nebraskans!! I just found this Ne Message Broad. I really enjoy the use of this site. My name is Brooke Nelson, I live in Lincoln Ne. I just got approved on the 9th of March, I'am IN. So on March 28th I'am scheduled for my surgery. I don't know what I would of done without all of you. It's really been a journey, you know the ups and downs. I'am confident with my choice of surgeon. His nurse Lisa is such a big support. They really do the leg work for you. I'am so looking for the 28th, I'am ready to start a new improved me. See you Nebraskans. Brooke458

Mona, Mona, Hello to you. Im having RNY, except I think he might do a open instead of a LAP. You see, I had my gallbladder out in Feb 1999, Dr Degraff tried to do the LAP on me then. I was to heavy to complete it, so she had to open me up. I had my daughter in Jan 2000, it was a bikini incision. Surprise in June of 2001, I had my son. It wasn't a regular c section. he went from my belly button down. So I have some really ugly scars. Tomorrow I going in for my pre-op appt with Dr Hung. Iam trying to come up with my questions. I want to suggest to just have the open, because my one of my little lap incisions really bothered me for months. I would hate to start with one, knowing I have some many scars and to of the extra weight I have gain since 2001. Iam so sorry Mona. I really just intended to introduce myself and thank-you for responding. I just keep rambling. It's so nice to have met with you. Take care, Brooke

Trust me: you really REALLY would prefer the surgery to be done laparoscopically if possible. I know Dr. Hung will probably want to at least look around your abdomen with a scope first, and then decide. Best of wishes on your journey.
