Desperate for approval

I am desperate for help getting approval from UHC CHoice Plus, It has an exclusion...who can I turn to?? Obesity law. com won't help me, I have tried to get our employer to change policies or add a rider and I pay the difference, but no luck they say UHC only offered one plan and that was it. Is there anyone who can help me? The exclusion is the only things stopping me from having surgery. Sincerely, Sheila

Hi Sheila, I know how frustrating it is not to have insurance approval. Unless your employer changes it's company or plan you will have to look elsewhere. Have you tried to get insurance on your own? Have you thought about private pay? I wish you the best of luck. Mona

There was an exclusion on my policy and they would not budge. I'm afraid you will have to look elsewhere. I ended up being self-pay. Have you considered going out of the country. I understand there are some very good Drs. out there. Do some research. Good Luck!! Linda
