Mona...fill question

Hi Mona! I had a fill yesterday. And forgot to ask about a special diet to follow. I see on the boards here that alot of Dr's require liquids for 24 then mushies for 24. So I called and asked the nurse that was working for Dr. H. She said no special diet. Just eat slowly and chew well. Does this sound right? I hope so!! I've been taking in soup and soft foods just to be on the careful side. I thought I read somwehre her that we tend to swell after a fill. Thanks! I almost called you. But I tried the nurse here first. I should have still called you. And then I went to SB afterwards and almost stopped by. For some reason I just didn't know if I should trust this nurse. Hi Jess, You probably should have soft foods for the first meal after a fill. Then start eating your normal meal after that. Every doctor has their own requirement after a fill. If you are too tight you won't be able to eat and then go to full liquids till the swelling eases up. That shouldn't happen. That is why Dr. Holloway has you drink after filling you to make sure you are not too tight. Please feel free to stop by or call me if you have problems.
