Frustration

I called Dr. Goering's office today, and found out that the paperwork was not sent to the insurance company until January 4th. I saw him on December 27th. The nurse told me that it could take up to a month, and maybe more to hear from the insurance company (ChampVA). She told me to be patient (thats easy for her to say) and that I would probably hear from the insurance company before the doctors office would. I need to make arrangements with work, and school, as well as other areas in my life. I was so excited at first, now I am just getting frustrated. I know that I need to stay focused on what I can have control over, like my school work, and do the best I can to get ahead now, so that I do not get behind later. I just want to get this done and start a new chapter in my life.

Hi Lori, I know how frustrating it can be to wait for insurance companies to get their stuff together. Just keep being the squeaky wheel and keep bugging the insurance company. Hang in there. It will happen. All good things come to those who will wait. Good luck. Mona

Hi Lori, I know how you feel about getting thing arranged. My surgery got postpone twice. As for the insurance company, it did take right at a month to get approved. I received a letter and the next day the surgeons office called. I will keep you in my prayers. Cathy
