Two weeks till surgery

Jan. 3, 2006 Just 2 weeks to go till my surgery date, I am confident that this is the right decision for me. I think before each meal about the things that will not be okay after surgery for a while, and this really doesn't bother me at all. Hope this is a good sign. It is such a positive feeling to know that this journey comes with very positive results that last a lifetime. I have been so inspired by all the profiles I have read, and all I can say about the before and after pictures are "WOW". l can't wait till I'm there too!! I will need the help of my husband to post photos, but we will do that soon. Happy New Year to all, may it be a very healthly one for all. Looking forward to Jan. 2007 when I can look back at some very positive steps towards a healthier future. My goal is to retire in great shape, to be very active, and to be able to keep up with my granddaughters, and Samantha our 1 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Joyce
