Anyone from Lincoln??

I am looking for someone in lincoln who might know of a current support group fpr lap band patients. I have been to a couple meetings but I am the only lap band in the room. Any Ideas? Maybe we can get one started!

Marci, I believe I met you at Dr. Hung's office. I also had the band in June 05. I am also the Bariatric RN at the hospital. ( St. E's) I am in the process of getting post op support group going. Hi Marci. I am in Lincoln too. There are a few of us that I know of and we have tried to get together a couple of times on an informal basis. We're trying to put together another meeting soon. Shelly has been to our group as well and I know she's going to do a fantastic job coordinating a group at St. E's. Until she gets that put together I hope we can get together again at least once. There is a Lincoln bandsters group on Yahoo. We aren't very active yet, but I believe as we grow and get more members the board will become more active. Well I just wanted to say Hi and hopefully we can get together sometime. There are some fantastic people in Lincoln that have been banded. Now we just need to work together to organize a group. Denise
