Hello. I was wondering if you could please tell me the dates of the support group meetings for Nov? Also what time they are and where at? i know the building but what room? I"m hoping to make it to one in Nov. I'm going to try hard. Hopefully my husband will be home so I can go. Any word on one starting here in Alliance? Thanks~Jess

Hi Jess, Our support group meets on the 1st and 3rd tuesday of the month at Regional West Medical Center, Medical Plaza South meeting room 1202 at 7 pm. Our next meeting on Nov 1st will feature Dr. Bayat, our new plastic surgeon. He will talk about reconstructive surgery following bypass and banding surgery. Our meeting on November 15th will feature our dietician talking about healthy eating through the holiday season. On December 6th, we are having a party and all the support groups in western nebraska, colorado and wyoming are invited to come and share their experiences. I haven't heard of anyone starting a group in Alliance yet. I am hoping someone would be willing to start one. I would happily come and help get one started. I hope to see you soon. Mona

Thanks! But for some reason I thought you said you were trying to get one set up here in Alliance. I know Beth Thompson had said she would come help set one up too. But I thought you were the one to told me to watch the newspaper for the ad. Maybe it wasn't you, I thought it was. It would have been about 2 months ago. Oh well. It sure would be easier on me to have one here in Alliance. Thanks~Jess I will see what I can do to get to one.

Hi Jess, At the time of the email I thought I had someone lined up in Alliance to start a group. It didn't work out. I am still looking for someone to start a group there. Mona

Hi Jess, Our support group meets the 1st and 3rd tuesdays of each month at Medical Plaza south meeting room at Regional west medical center in Scottsbluff. I will have signs up to direct you to the meeting room. It meets at 7 pm. At our next meeting on November 1st, Dr. Bayat,our new plastic surgeon will be talking about reconstructive surgery following banding and bypass.
