Support groups in Omaha?

I know that Dr Whites support group meets on Wednesday nights-which unfortunately does not work for me. Are there any support groups that meet on Monday or Tuesday nights anywhere in town? I am 21 months out and needing some extra support right now. Sandra 438/242/160

I came to ask the same type of question. Sorry I can't help, I've only recently moved (back) to Ne. I didn't go to support groups where I used to live but I'm curious now. Do you have to have a surgeon in the area or are the support groups for anyone?

At the last meeting on Sept 7th, Mary White said she is going to be starting a Monday night group for those of us at least 1 year out at Lakeside Hospital on 168th and Center. I'm Pre-op but have thought of how helpful it would be if there was a weekly group and wondered if any others would be interested. If I get approved I'm having the DS but I think the support groups ought to be more about encouraging each other reguardless of the type of surgery.
