Hi guys and gals!

Just wanted to check in with you all since my Tummy Tuck last Thursday. Today I feel pretty good. I can't believe all that skin is gone!!! Dr. Armstrong said she removed 8 lbs of tissue!!! That is amazing!! I was also very impressed that Dr. Armstrong (my plastic surgeon) actually picked up the phone and called me today to see how I was doing. I have never had a physician call me themselves, usually they have the nurses do it. That is very classy and something I will never forget. My stomach is still very numb. Sometimes I can feel the tingly numbing feeling and from what I understand, that may last for a while. I did not end up getting a boob job. Insurance didn't pay for the TT so I had to, and I couldn't afford to do both. I think I am glad though, because this was a lot more pain than the RNY was, so I don't know if I would have been able to handle pain in 2 places. I can't wait to see many of you at our next support group meeting next month. Sorry I didn't make it to the last one, but it was the day before my surgery and I wanted to spend the time with my family. I'm sure you all understand. I am looking forward to having the next 5 weeks off from work. I will try to get some new photos posted to my photobucket account in my profile. I will let you all know when I do. Have a great night! congrats on the TT..bet u are glad that is over..I am in great anticipation of my surgery on the 20th ...wi**** was over..getting scared..a little but I am happy for you and your TT I probably will need that also after my surgery.. good luck, Jean

Congrats! that is next on my to-do list. I want to drop another 50 lbs first though. I hope all is going well with you. I miss everyone from the support group. I hope I can get back into going. When is it meeting now? Sandy 438/240/160

Congradulations on all that weightloss. I bet you look fabulous. The next meeting is October 5th. A plastic surgeon (Dr. Edny) will be the guest speaker. He will have before/after photos to share. I hope to see you there! Cathy
