hello all.... hows everyone doin?? I am scheduled for surgury on Sept 20th now that my mom's surgery is all over with and she is now "cancer free" I can totally focus on mine now..also my mother has come around and says she totally supports me..actually she said she was totally shocked when I first told her I was thinking about surgery and she has since come around..which makes it much easier for me..but whats what is up with me..I am excited/scared ready to do this already... take care. Well greetings from North Platte. That's where I'am at now just got done watching Nebraska football on tv. I had my surgery on June 9th. 2005.I will have a checkup at Ogallaga on Monday the 12th. I will let everybody know how I did then I will update my profile. Later Jimmy

All is well in my neck of the woods. I'm doing great. 14 months post-op down 158 pounds. Gone from a size 28 to 14-16s. I have a super guy in my life and just having a great time. I hope fall takes it time getting here as now I don't have a thing to wear for cold weather now. God bless New Life Thrift shop. Jeanb

Carol in Omaha here. Feeling great. Had lapband on the 7th. The only soreness I have is with my left shoulder. Still on liquids. I have my post-op exam tomorrow. Hope to see some of you soon Love and Best Wished Carol

Hi Nebraskan's Bonnie from Hastings here. I had my surgery June 21, 2005 in Lincoln. I have had a few rough spots but am doing good now. I'm down 71lbs. so feeling very good about that. I love reading message boards and hearing what is going on with others. Its helped me alot in my journey so far. Hope all having a great day. Bonnie

Hello from Lincoln. I had my surgery on Sept 2nd. I am doing great. I feel really good and have lost over 20lbs already. My only problem is I have no energy but I guess that is pretty common... Linda
