Looking for Doctor, in Lincoln, to do adjustments to my band

Hi Everyone, I will be having my lap-band surgery performed July 14, 2005 in Mexico. Although I live in Kansas, I'm closer to Lincoln than to any city in Kansas, as I'm only 20 miles from the Nebraska border. I would like to find a Doctor in Lincoln who would adjust my band for me. I'm having problems because it seems that some Doctors won't work on patients that have had their bands placed by other Doctors, or Doctors outside of the US. This really doesn't make sense to me. What if I had been living in another state and moved elsewhere, would I have to travel back to my original state just to have adjustments? If anybody knows of a Doctor that can help me or a Doctor that I can contact to get information from, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks, Dawn

Nick is right. Dr. Hung has done my surgery and first fill. He is also doing other patients that were done in Sioux Falls and no longer have to travel 3-4 hours. It is much more conveinent and prevents patients from not getting fills because of the time element. Best of Luck. His nurse is Lisa and you could ask to talk to her. Just make sure your insurance company knows you are switching docs for fills to ensure they are covered. Shelly
