New Lap Band post op

Hello, I'm new to this forum and message board but looking to keep a support system open. I was the first Lap Band in Lincoln Ne! Had surgery on 6/7/05 by Dr Hung at St E's hospital. Now a few days post op and thought I better get involved with a support system. Being from a smaller town they do not have any support groups for this in our town. Things are gowing great but slow, much more sore than I expected!

Congratulations. I have been trying to get DS surgery for almost 2 years and am finially going to get it in a month or two in Omaha with Dr. Anthone. Someone should get a support group going here in Lincoln for all wls patients no matter what kind of surgery you had. I'm not a leader so it won't be me, but surely there is someone who could organize this. I think Dr. Hung does have a support group but also think it is just his patients. Linda
