Patient's of Dr. Sudan - Omaha

I would like to talk to post op patients of Dr. Sudan about your successes. I am considering surgery with Dr. Sudan. I have had my consultation and I am so excited!!!

i was a former patient of Dr. Sudan. He did not do my VBG Dr. Jacobs did, but then he left and Sudan took his patients. Before Dr. jacobs left I was to have my VBG converted to the Rueny. The Dr. sudan was to take over. I went throw all the tests and the money, only for him to say I had to get on his waiting list. I was mislead and very hurt. I did develop a hernia that needed repaired. He was the only Dr I knew so He repaired my hernia, a few days after surgery I got a staff in fection and was hospitalized againm, then when I came home I had to have a home health nurse for a month. His PA Christa Black usually saw me on visites and she was told something was very wrong I could walk my face was red and i felt faint, she did nothing. I fianlly asked to see dr sudan who finally admitted me for an infection. that was all in 2003. now its 2005 I still have hernias, I havent lost all my weight and im still in alot of pain. I have found a Dr in lincoln that im going to work with. I hope Dr. sudan works for you but he did not for me and I would nver recommend him. Pat

I felt like I was in a cattle call.....with a herd when I went. I did not want to be another nameless faceless person to them. I wanted a Dr. that I could get in touch with and see if I needed something and that NEVER happened when I tried to reach Dr. Sudan. I also saw 3 other Doctors in the Omaha area. I ahve now chosen a Doctor in Council Bluffs, Iowa because at the cosultation he actually SAT DOWN in the office and spent almost an HOUR with me talking to me. I was BLOWN away. So, I knew for ME, he was the correct choice. I hope that you have found that choice for you in Dr. Sudan Ans

I had the DS surgery with Dr. Sudan on May 4, 2004. I can honestly say he saved my life. He is the nicest doctor I have ever been to and very thorough. It has been over a year and he can remember everything I went through - even remembers my moms name and asks about her everytime I go in for a checkup. After my surgery during a long weekend I had to place a call into the office with some questions a couple of times and he always personally returned my calls within 10 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Sudan and his staff for your surgery. I also go to the monthly support groups which are very helpful. I just had hernia surgery a month ago and everything is going great. I have lost 136 pounds and I think I'm probably done losing. I am under my goal by 10 pounds and have gone from a size 24 to a size 10 (sometimes a 8).
