Skinny on the TT
So I had my Belt lipectomy about 3 weeks ago now. Things are going very well and I am back to work on light duty. I can definately say a few things about this procedure though. I think that it was a little more painful than the Gastric Bypass, however I have gotten over this a lot faster than I did the Bypass surgery. I am amazed at the new look and can' stop looking at it in the mirror. They removed 20 pounds of excess skin and fat and that takes my grand total to a loss of 245 pounds. It is so amazing to me how far I have come in 14 months. I would just like the gastric bypass surgery recommed this to you if you are considering it, as you will not be disappointed with the results. I know that I was very fearful of being unhappy with the results. I am so happy that I did this. Now I need about $7000 so I can do the upper body lift and arms ( I am taking donations if y'all are interested (j/k)). I am still a little bit sore, but it is not unbearable. Well if you have any questions for me shoot.
Nick
Thanks again for all of the prayers and support!!!!
Hey Nick how about posting some pictures??? I don't think I'm going to do the TT thing. Don't think my insurance would pay and I can't afford it and don't want any more surgeries !!!! But isn't 20 lbs a lot !! I thought 10 lbs at the most for a TT. So glad everything went so well for ya !! Good luck with the $$$ for th upper body and arms !! .. Sue
You have had an awesome journey Nick, Im glad it went so well. Yes please we really need the inspiriation of some before and after pics. What is the differance between a belt lipectomy and a pannilectomy? Im guessing the belt lipectomy is more of a body lift? I doubt my insurance will pay for any of it for me, but every time I go to the doc I have them document my back pain, it can't hurt.Congrats on your new body..JeanB
