My daughter has a surgery date!!!

My daughter got a call from the Drs office today and she was approved and will have her surgery on Jan 11th !!! She will have the same surgeon as I did and will have Laprascopic RNY the same as me! I know she's excited has been waiting for this for a long time now. As for me I'm scared!!

I've read so many profiles about how people almost died that I'm more scared for my daughter to have the surgery than I was for myself!! I'm going to ******vous wreck by then yikes !! ... Sue

Congratulations to your daughter Sue. I can imagine how you feel. My daughter is so big. I have taken her to all the information meetings with me and to hear Barbara Thompson speak, but still she says No way to the surgery, I know she would feel and look better and be healthier, I dont want her to go through the life I did but I could never push her because I think of the negative possibilities and it is so frightening. Im glad your daughter has you to help her, you will be knoeing just what she is going through at every stage and be able to answer her questions..JeanB
