Well, since I"m still 366, I doubt I'll be near goal. I'd love to be in the lower 200's though! Since I'm tall too even that looks pretty good! We are going to Cape Hatteras NC. So just about a bit north of you guys. We normally go to Floriday, but my hubby's family likes it up there. So we said we'd go this year.

Surgery Date -- March 10th, 2004 Surgery Type -- Open RNY Starting Weight -- 510 Pounds Lost -- 190 Present Weight -- 320 Goal -- 275 I realize that 275 sounds like a high goal, but I am 6' 1" and have a large body structure. My surgeon says this is a good goal. After I get there I will probably loose another 30 lbs with a tummy tuck and getting the skin removed from my arms. This is the best I can remember feeling. I have been over weight since I was very young. I am only 21 now. I had some problems at first ( I had a leak and almost died {will have to read my profile}). I have absolutely no regrets. I wouldn't worry about being a slow looser though. Everyone looses at their own pace. As long as you fell good that is all that matters. Nick

Like I said I'm tall too so my goal is a little higher 175. I asked my Dr today about goal weight but he didn't give me any specific numbers so thats "my" goal. I am on the other end of the age limit I'm 56 and yes even just losing the 55 lbs has made it much easier getting around. I also have heart disease so it has taken the pressure off my heart. I'm sorry you had so much trouble in the beginning I read your profile! I have been very fortunate and have had no complications from the surgery other than the usual. I have ed a few times and some times made my self puke becuz I was so uncomfortable. Mostly from dry chicken !! Keep up the good work and I'll keep plugging along too! Thanks for posting Nick... Sue
