Dr. White's support meeting

Dr. White's Support meeting will be held next Wed., Dec. 8th at 7 pm in the Happy Hollow room at Immanuel. I hope to see lots of "bandsters" there as well as RNYers. We all have the same goal and I love to hear the success stories! Denise

Hi Denise, Are Dr. White's support group meetings open to patients who had surgery by another surgeon. I had the lapband 7/31/03 and recently moved from Los Angeles to Omaha. I'm doing fine but I need to find a surgeon in Omaha to follow up with. I've lost 105 pounds. Has Dr. White had a lot of experience with the lapband? I'm looking forward to meeting other "bansters" in the area. I've lost a little over 90% of my excess body weight and attending support group meetings over the last 16 months has made a big difference. Best wishes, Linda

I'm fairly new to all of this. Last month was my first meeting. I was banded 09-08-04. But I am sure you would be welcome to come to the meetings. Dr. White has been doing the band for a couple of years I think. Congratulations on the fantastic loss! I hope to do the same myself. I plan on using this band to it's fullest potential and losing all my excess weight. I hope you do come to the meeting and I hope to get to meet you! Denise
