Can anyone tell me if a person can have lap rny done at a mtf? Nebraska, South Dakota or Kansas? Am already approved with Tricare and now won't cover lap.

I'm not sure check with Omaha VA. My husband is going to see a surgeon on the 29th in regards to Lap-rny at that hosp. They just started doing Laproscopic gastric by-pass. Were hoping he can have the surgery but will find out on the Nov 29th.. Good luck military is so screwy

Ehrling Bergquist (Offutt AFB) does NOT do gastric bypass surgery at all. That is the only one I know of. I got farmed out to a civilian, Dr Sudan, and he did it lap on Nov 2nd. Ondie
