Im getting very discouraged! Its been since January some time since we've been looking into surgery for me and my medical insurance keeps denying me because of my age! Does anyone have any ideas of anything else I can do? I'm tired of waiting and being turned down!!!

I really don't have any advice for you. But I do hope that you find a way to get the insurance company to work with you. Isn't there like a law page in here somewhere? or at least I thought I had seen one somewhere along the lines. Good luck!

How old are you? I'm 26 and had the surgery. I live in Kearney and Dr. Goering did my surgery in August.

im 18, ill be 19 in less than a week.. and im not sure about a law.. i wish there was some kind of law or something that would allow me to have the surgery!

I don't know what to tell you. I am 21 now but was only 20 when I got approved for the surgery. I was the youngest surgery that my surgeon had ever done. It is doable. Nick

Sorry to threadjack... Hey Nick, I saw that youa re from Auburn and that's where I'm from too. I graduated from Southeast COnsolidated though. My parents (Dennis & Joan Wittmann) still live in Auburn. Kristin
