HELP

Has anyone had surgery with Dr. John Goering at Saint Francis Medical Center in Grand Island NE? Can't seem to find much about him, he does lap RNY.

Hi Rhonda ... Yes I had Dr. John Goering at Saint Francis Med Center in Grand Island, NE. I know he's been doing the surgery in Grand Island for a few years now. Oh and by the way he's "hot" as my daughter would say. He's young I can't say for sure but I would say in his 30's and very nice looking. I had my surgery on July 21st of this year (2004) I am now 9 wks post-op and am doing well. I had no complications from the surgery and I learn on a daily basis things that help me from other people who have had the surgery also. I started at 311 lbs BMI 44. I am now down 35 lbs to 276. I am what they call a slow loser not as dramatic as some I've read about but as long as I keep going down I don't care!!! I had my surgery on Wed and went home on Fri. and I went back to my work (a sit down type job) in 9 days. I have to admitt I pushed it a little but pulled it off. Guess that makes me a tough old gal huh!! Don't know if this helps you any but I liked Dr. Goering and have no complaints. Sue

Dr. Goering did my surgery in August and I have nothing but good things to say about him. I had the lap RNY and have had no complications at all. I highl yreccomend him.
