Dr. White and the lap band

Hi, I have looked into the mgb with Dr. Hargroder in Joplin, MO and my doctor told me that Dr. White does the lap band in Omaha. Has anyone here had the lap band? How fast did/do you lose the weight? I have to lose about 100 lbs. Would absolutely LOVE to lose 110. I know that it is a little slower but, haven't spoken to anyone who has had it. ANY info would be very much appreciated. Also, has anyone had Dr. White for a surgeon? What is your opinion of him and the staff? Would you have him be your surgeon again if needed? Thank you for your time, Kathy

I will be having the lap band done with Dr. white. I will be attending the seminar in about 2 weeks and then can make my appointmen. I've heard wonderfull things about him so I'm hopeing it's all true! Good luck!! Jacquie
