Principal Financial?

Anybody in Ne.insured w/Principal Financial Group/Healthcare Preferred PPO get approved for surgery? Thanks,Mary

I have Principal/Midlands Choiceppo. I have 5 co-workers that have had the bypass and or lap band. As for myself, I got turned down because they did not feel it was medically necessary. I am in the process of trying again. I rushed into it and did not have enough documentation for the insurance co. ( in hind sight.) I met the requirements of BMI and pounds overweight, just did not have enough medical documetation. Where are you at in your journey, looking at surgery? S.
