HELLO, where are all the NE people!

Hi everyone, I thought we might have some action on this state board but it kind of came and went. Latricia Stevens is having surgery tomorrow and I would like everyone to pray for her and wish her well. I am scheduled for next week, which I have chatted with the woman who is scheduled for the same day, same surgeon, right before me. How funny is that, what a great pal to have to go through it with. Well I hope we can chat more about anything...protein, vitamins, worries......ANYTHING. Sincerely, Cindi

Cindi, you absolutely can ask about anything. I think a lot of people check in here every day to see if anyone has left a message. Good luck to you on your surgery, Im only 2 weeks post -op and begining to feel human again. Sorry to say Ithink your doctor is wise about the baby, he wont understand seeing you like that but he will sence something is wrong. Have faith in those who are taking care of him for you and concentrate on getting well. You will find soon it's so much easier to get around and you will be able to enjoy playing with him even more. Hi everyone...I am new to this board. I just had my consult with Dr. Sudan this morning. We decided on an open DS. My BMI is 43. No date yet, need to get approvals, but it looks good. I am supposed to take a class this fall (graduate school). Do you all think this is do-able?? I don't know how long I will be out of comission. Also- what does an angel do? Sheryl E/Omaha

Hey Sheryl I am sorta in the same boat you are in. I begin classes tomorrow morning. I have my psychiatirc and nurtritional counseling this coming Thursday and I am hoping after this that insurance will go ahead. If everythig is a go ahead i am wanting to do my surgery on our fall break. Its only like two days in October so i figured if i had it done the first of that week i would have the rest of the week to rest and will only be missing three days of classes. Yes i can hear you now thats to soon but, i push myself also, i believe i will be okay and will be able to attend the following week. I love the college that i am attending as last year i was in a near fatal car accident and they did everything to help me out in every way that was need. It was difficult but i pushed and made it through. I wish you all the best........

Hi Cindi, I from North Platte, group leader. We are trying to get a get together in Kearney or Grand for October 29, Friday night we'll kick of with a costume party(was hoping someone would host it their homes) We each bring some finger foods. We are trying to get a head count so we could get cheaper rates at a motel. Saturday a brunch and then who knows???? We could visit more maybe at go shopping.
