As if I wasnt under enough....

Okay tell me this isnt weird. I have my surgery date for 8/11 and everything was good with my insurance when low and behold they called today. BCBS called and siad to be safe they need additional paperwork. i was like okay no big deal I have my ducks in a row. This is what they said they needed. Psych clearance, thyriod clearance, current tsh or something like that..lol, primary physician clearance, and a dietician clearance..lol thats not one thing thats everything..lol so i faxed them and holding my breath I dont want them to switch my date!!!!Help im so scared.... this might help a little, bcbs also told me to fax info and then when i checked in 1 week later they told me that they had not recieved anything.call them everyday until they give you an answer since your surgery is so close.talk to a supervisor if neccessary. we did and we had results immediatly. i wouldnt want to be left wondering. your right it's enough just dealing with the upcoming event. i to am scheduled this month and would not want to be left hanging. good luck!

Latricia, You poor thing! I hope everything goes well and your date isn't changed. I agree you need to call everyday and speak to someone in charge, don't let them give you the run around! Let us know how you come out. Shelby

Hi Latricia, Crossing my fingers and hoping you get the reply you need very quickly. I still have to do the Psych clearance and the Dietician next week before BCBS will even look at my request. Hoping to get a date by the end of next month. Good luck, Di
